I was raised 30 miles just north of Chicago, born in Highland Park, IL. I hailed from a long line of food industry workers. My father, brothers, uncles, and cousins all flooded the grocery store work force, pulling me right alongside them. My father managed a local grocery store, giving me my first job as a bag boy. This is where my career journey began. Fast-forward 25 years and a persistent career climb up the food industry ladder, I had acquired expertise in my field that expanded in all aspects of specialty food, senior management, and account sales. I realized I had made specialty foods distribution my mastery. Upon this realization, I decided I had a new career journey on my horizon. Then on, Ask Jim was founded.
